Noah Byrd, Ph.D., R.A.C.

Associate

Noah Byrd serves as an Associate of Cato BioVentures. He is also a Senior Regulatory Scientist of Cato Research and is heavily involved in multiple international and domestic biopharmaceutical programs. Prior to joining Cato BioVentures and Cato Research, Noah was an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow at Duke University Medical Center where he studied the genetic mechanisms underlying neural tube and congenital heart defects. Noah has over 14 years research experience in both academic and pharmaceutical settings and his areas of expertise include vascular and cardiovascular disease & disorders and renal disease & disorders. He also serves as Regulatory Contact for multiple companies, has successfully lead several FDA meetings within different Divisions, and has sat on Medical and Scientific Advisory Boards. Noah earned a BS, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee and a PhD from Wesleyan University. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is RAC-certified in the US by the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society.
